October 17 marks the United Nation’s International Day for the Eradication of Poverty. The world demands moral and innovative leaders with a capacity for economic principles that benefit the greater society.
In his 2017 keynote address at the Global Peace Economic Forum in the Philippines, Dr. Hyun Jin Preston Moon highlighted the changing global and technological landscape and a rising demand for society, economies and businesses to be rooted in universal principles and values that cater to fundamental human rights.
“For there to be a sustainable, equitable and prosperous economic system, there must be people of conscience first, whose collective decisions advance the greater good as opposed to benefiting the few.”
